NYOH Patient shares her story about genetic testing and breast cancer

Katrina Susman (in photo, with husband and son), a patient at New York Oncology Hematology, recently shared her experience with NYOH's Hereditary Risk Assessment Program, opting for surgery after learning about her genetic markers for several cancers. Dr. Karen Tedesco, who directs the program, also talks with Time Warner Cable News health reporter, Marcie Fraser, about the increasingly important role that genetic testing and counseling can play in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
