New York Oncology Hematology congratulates Dr. Arsyl De Jesus, named the 2018 Outstanding Physician in Radiation Oncology, by the US Oncology Network.

Selected from hundreds of physicians across the country, Dr. De Jesus was recognized for her fierce commitment to patients – and service to community, NYOH and the US Oncology Network.

As the radiation oncologist in our Amsterdam office, Dr. De Jesus treats patients from across Schenectady, Fulton and Montgomery counties. Known throughout the community, she speaks at many cancer awareness events, including the recent “Salon Strong 2.0,” in partnership with Nathan Littauer Hospital. Last year, she spent her Mother’s Day talking with local farmers about skin cancer prevention.

Dr. De Jesus proudly serves on the board of the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Northeastern New York, as well as the American Cancer Society. She also serves as secretary of the NYOH Board of Directors, and has established high expectations as Chair of the NYOH Compliance Committee. At the national level, she has served as Chair of the Radiation Oncology Compliance Committee for The US Oncology Network.

NYOH is deeply proud of Dr. De Jesus. On behalf of her many patients and their loved ones, we thank her for her skill, passion and commitment to care.
