Arsyl De Jesus, MD, radiation oncologist at New York Oncology Hematology's Amsterdam office, recently spent the day in Washington, DC. Dr. De Jesus was on Capitol Hill to educate members of Congress, including Hon. Paul Tonko, about radiation therapy and advocate for ways to improve patient quality of care, lower costs, and maintain the viability of freestanding radiation therapy centers, like NYOH.
Founded more than 30 years ago by local physicians, NYOH is the largest provider of cancer treatment in the region, with six locations and a team of 34 physicians.
