After careful consideration and patient feedback, our physicians have decided to move NYOH’s Rexford office to our Clifton Park location, just ten minutes up the road. This move will begin later this year.
By combining offices, we can provide all our services in one location (radiation, infusion, clinical research trials, PET/CT imaging, in-office dispensing) for greater convenience.
We know many patients are already traveling to Clifton Park for some of their care. Located at the corner of 3 Crossings Blvd. at the corner of Sitterly Road, it is less than eight miles from the Rexford office.
Opened in 2015, our Clifton Park office is a new, state of the art cancer center, designed with patient comfort in mind. It includes:
- A convenient portico – so you can be dropped off just feet from the front door, under cover from sun, rain and snow.
- The region’s first Varian TrueBeam, delivering advanced radiation treatment for hard to reach cancers in the brain, breast, neck and lungs
- A brand-new mobile PET/CT for convenient imaging appointments
- A separate radiation entrance, parking and waiting area
- A spacious, comfortable infusion suite, with complimentary tablet use and more privacy
- In-office dispensing onsite – so patients can pick up medications right at the office

Can I continue to see the same doctor?
Yes, you do not need to change physicians. Dr. Howard Schlossberg, Dr. Sunitha Sukumaran and Dr. Siddique Tai will all be transitioning to Clifton Park.
If your next appointment needs to be rescheduled in Clifton Park, we will be contacting you to set up a convenient time. Otherwise, you’ll keep your next appointment in Rexford.
What is happening to the doctors and nurses in Rexford?
Dr. Howard Schlossberg, Dr. Sunitha Sukumaran and Dr. Siddique Tai will all be transitioning to Clifton Park. Most of our Rexford staff will also be moving to Clifton Park in the coming months. A few staff may take positions at our other locations, but no one is losing their job because of this move.
Can I switch to another NYOH office?
Yes, you can. If you decide that another office is more convenient, we can move you to that location. You will not see the same physician, but our team can work together to ensure the continuity of your care. NYOH has offices in Albany/Patroon Creek, Albany Medical Center, Amsterdam, Clifton Park, Hudson, and Troy.
