Being somewhat hesitant about getting treatment locally, I considered going to a large city.  After meeting with doctors in Boston, I was assured that they could not offer any more than NYOH.  I certainly made the right choice. It may sound cliché, but NYOH is a top-level facility with a small-community feel.

The radiation technicians took the time to get to know me.  We spent most mornings during my treatment talking about running, as they were training for marathons.  By the end of treatment, it was like being around friends, which often took my mind off treatment. Since then, several of my friends have been diagnosed with cancer.  Without reservation, I advise them to seek treatment at NYOH.
