Project Easter Bunny delivers baskets for children of NYOH patients

Mar 24, 2016

A special delivery of 75 Easter baskets recently arrived at NYOH, the volunteer efforts of Floydwarriors, a cancer patient support organization created by an NYOH patient and survivor.

Project Easter Bunny is the brainchild of Lisa Morehan (wearing bunny ears), an NYOH breast cancer survivor. Back in 2009, when she was in treatment, Morehan was too sick to create an Easter basket for her son. She vowed to make up for it by helping other patients and every year, she and her team of volunteers create hundreds of Easter baskets that are delivered around the region, for the children of patients battling cancer.

This year, the baskets were delivered via a donated pink limousine and distributed to NYOH patients across our locations.
